Abstract

Waterproof connector, with a housing (1) having a first opening (12), an interior (11) and a second opening (13) connected to each other, wherein the second opening (13) serves to insert a cable (7) into the interior (11), wherein the cable (17) has at least one conductor (71); an electrical connection assembly (2) housed in the interior (11) comprising a first base body (21), a second base body (24) and at least one conductor (3), wherein the first base body (21) is located closer to the first opening (12) than the second base body (24), wherein the first base body (21) has at least one channel (22) and the second base body (24) has at least one positioning section (25), wherein the at least one positioning section (25) serves to mount the at least one conductor (71), wherein the at least one conductor has a connecting section (31) and a forked cutting section (32) which are conductive, wherein the forked cutting section (32) of the at least one conductor (3) is inserted into the at least one positioning section (25) and serves to pierce the at least one conductor (71) to establish an electrical connection,and wherein the connecting section (31) of the at least one conductor (3) runs through the at least one channel (22); and , a water protection assembly (4) which is mounted on the housing (1) so that the interior (11) cannot communicate with the environment via the second opening (13).
