Modular multi-surface driving platform with central drive module

Abstract

Modular driving platform for movement on snow, ice and other natural surfaces, comprising: a standing board designed to support a user; at least one front ground contact element and at least one rear ground contact element aligned along a longitudinal axis; and a central ground-contacting drive module positioned between the front and rear ground contact elements, wherein the drive module is configurable to operate in a powered mode and in a non-powered free-riding mode without altering the basic structural architecture of the platform.
