Abstract

Locking system for a manually operated barrier gate at an electric vehicle charging station, including: • an electric deadbolt lock, • an RFID reader for user identification, • a control unit, • at least one limit switch for detecting the grid position, • a logging unit, wherein the control unit is designed such that it: 1. Releases the deadbolt lock after successful RFID authentication, 2. stores the user's ID, 3. requires renewed RFID authentication when closing the gate, 4. The closing process is only recognized as valid if the same user ID is used.
