Abstract

Dishware service (1) for receiving food, comprising: a) a body (1) made of food-grade material with a receiving surface (2) and a peripheral edge region (3), b) at least one thermochromic display area (4) arranged on the receiving surface (2) and containing a material (15) which reversibly changes its color depending on the temperature of the receiving surface (2), c) an electronic display module comprising a temperature sensor (6), a display (5) and a control unit (9) and arranged in the peripheral edge region (3), d) a rechargeable energy source (7) and a receiver coil (8) for inductive energy transfer, e) a cavity (17) in the body (1) in which the electronic display module, the energy source (7) and the receiver coil (8) are arranged, f) a sealing plate (18) and an O-ring (11) which seal the cavity (17) in a watertight manner according to protection class IP67, characterized in thatthat the thermochromic display area (4) and the electronic display module are simultaneously visible to an observer and thermally independently coupled to the recording surface (2), so that both independently display temperature information of the recording surface (2).
