Abstract

Modular demonstration device for simulating topological path structures, consisting of a set of polygonal individual modules which have defined connection points (1) for path segments (2) on their edges, characterized in that the shape set of the individual modules includes different path geometries, namely linear connecting elements (5), angled connecting elements (6), branching elements (7) with at least three connection points (1) and crossing elements (8) with at least 4 connection points (1), wherein the geometric arrangement of the connection points (1) enables a gapless form closure of the overall path only if a topological parity of the branching elements (7) used is maintained.
