Abstract

A magnetically elastic lid opening mechanism for a movable lid of a device, in particular a container, housing, cabinet, box or the like, characterized in that a first elastic retaining element (2) is arranged inside the device, which is attached at a first end to an inner wall or to an inner part of the device and carries a magnet (3) at a free end, wherein the magnet (3) interacts with a counter magnet (4) arranged on the lid (1) to hold the lid (1) in a closed position, and in that an externally actuating element (5) is provided, which is guided through a wall (6) or a component of the device and, when actuated, presses directly against the first elastic retaining element (2) and elastically displaces it from its holding position, so that the magnet (3) is moved away from the counter magnet (4) and the magnetic connection is released.wherein, after the magnetic connection is released, the lid (1) can be moved automatically into an open position by the restoring force of one or more further elastic elements (7).
