Abstract

A device (10) for receiving cards, in particular payment cards, identification cards or similar flat cards, with a magnetic fastening device (12) for detachable attachment to the back of a mobile electronic device (50), the device (10) comprising: - a hinged flap (14) which, when opened, forms a stable stand for the mobile electronic device (50); - a first compartment (16) for receiving a plurality of cards, from which cards can be at least partially dispensed by means of an ejection mechanism (18); - a second compartment (20), which is arranged separately from the first compartment (16), for receiving at least two further cards or at least one banknote; and wherein the second compartment (20) is not accessible when the flap (14) is closed and only becomes accessible by opening the flap (14);and the hinged flap (14) has a slim, essentially flat overall shape when closed;
