Abstract

Device for differential synchronization of input templates between edge devices and a central management unit, comprising: a) a central management unit (10) for storing and versioning input templates for speech processing units, wherein the management unit maintains a version graph; b) a differential update unit (30) configured to calculate only the difference between the current and the previous version when an input template is changed and to transmit this difference to the affected edge devices (20); c) a device adaptation unit (40) configured to adapt input templates to device-specific limitations regarding memory, processing power, and latency; d) a reset unit (50) which automatically restores the last working version when processing of an updated input template on the edge device fails.
