A locking device for an electro-hydraulic pop-up roof of vehicles, which is inserted into the scissor mechanism of the pop-up roof and mechanically blocks the roof in the raised position to prevent unintentional lowering, characterized in that the locking device is designed to be handled as a single piece and is completely free of moving parts, screw connections or separate fastening elements, and can be inserted into and removed from the scissor mechanism manually and without tools.
