Abstract

Device for low-odor temporary storage and treatment of organic household waste, comprising: • an airtight sealed processing chamber, • a shredding unit, • a moisture reduction device, • an actively controlled negative pressure system, • a closed air supply system with a closed air circuit, • a condensate separation unit, • at least one multi-stage gas phase filter unit with at least one adsorption medium, • a compression unit, and • a discharge unit with a sluice system, characterized in that the negative pressure system directs the process air exclusively within the closed air circuit, moisture is removed from the airflow by means of condensation, odor-active substances are selectively retained by the gas phase filter unit, and the escape of odorous air into the environment is prevented.
