Abstract

Battery-operated base for miniature models, comprising a base body in which a battery compartment for receiving a button cell, an electrical resistor arranged in a circuit, and a switch are arranged, wherein the base body has at least two feedthrough openings on its upper side leading into an interior of the base body for connecting leads of at least one LED, characterized in that two electrically separated contact surfaces are arranged in the interior of the base body, that after the connecting leads have been passed through the feedthrough openings, stripped end sections of the connecting leads can be assigned to one of the contact surfaces and placed on them, and that a pressure device is provided by means of which the end sections of the connecting leads can be pressed against the contact surfaces, so that electrical contact and mechanical fixation of the LED take place without soldering.
