Abstract

Positioning device for the precise positioning or alignment of a tool or guide rail or stop for a tool and / or a workpiece or workpiece stop on a worktop with a plurality of cylindrical bores in the worktop, relative to a selected bore of the worktop, characterized in that: • the positioning device (1) is a monolithic or multi-part cylindrical body (2) with a lower part with which the positioning device (1) is mounted in one of the cylindrical bores (21) of the worktop (20) and an upper part which, in the mounted state, is located above the surface of the worktop.• the upper part of the cylinder body (2) has a diameter at least partially larger than the hole diameter (22) of the bores (21) in the worktop (20), with which the positioning device (1) is supported on the worktop (20) and aligns the positioning device (1) perpendicular to the top of the worktop, • the lower part of the positioning device (1) has an expanding arrangement whose diameter can be changed wholly or partially so that a first diameter is adjustable, which allows the positioning device (1) to be inserted into one of the bores (21) of the worktop (20), and a second diameter is adjustable with which a clamping effect results from which a backlash-free mounting of the positioning device (1) in the selected bore (21) of the worktop (20) results, and wherein the expanding arrangement is prepared in such a way thatthat the diameter change is radial and exactly concentric to the longitudinal axis of the cylinder body (2), resulting in a position of the cylinder body (2) that is exactly concentric to the selected bore center; the positioning device (1) is prepared so that the tool, the guide rail (40) for the tool or the workpiece (23), or the workpiece stop is applied to the cylinder body (2), wherein it is provided that at least two positioning devices (1) are used simultaneously to define a direction for the tool, the guide rail (40) for the tool or the workpiece, or the workpiece stop on the work surface (20).
