Device for measuring ground unevenness and leveling volume, comprising: a laser detection device with a detection window for capturing a projected reference laser line; a mount for arranging the device on a support, guide or holding element; an evaluation unit; and an input device for registering measurement points, wherein the evaluation unit is configured to determine a fill volume for a surface from a plurality of registered height values.
