Abstract

Electronic bite indicator system comprising at least one electronic bite indicator and a portable receiver unit with a graphic display unit, wherein the electronic bite indicator is configured to detect movement of a fishing line by means of a sensor device, to evaluate a fishing event, to determine several parameters of the fishing event, and to wirelessly transmit event data of the fishing event to the portable receiver unit, characterized in that the portable receiver unit is configured to generate a dynamic graphic representation of the fishing event based on the received event data, wherein the graphic representation changes dynamically during a temporal progression of the fishing event depending on the determined parameters of the fishing event.
