Abstract

(Main claim) Device for automatically blocking a door in an open position, comprising a housing attachable to the door frame in which a movable bolt is arranged, wherein the bolt is held in a first position by a magnet arranged in the housing, and wherein the bolt interacts with a magnetic counter-unit arranged on the door leaf such that when the door is opened, the bolt is released from the first position and moved by gravity into a second position in which it mechanically blocks movement of the door in the closing direction, and wherein the bolt can be manually moved into the first position to close the door.
