Abstract

A system for the automated evaluation and reconfiguration of a distributed technical system with multiple heterogeneous technical resources, wherein the technical resources are each described by a machine-readable capability data set and a digital resource model is provided, characterized in that the system comprises: a TEW evaluation unit (40), configured to calculate a dynamic technical capability value (TEW) from the capability data set, a current state data set of the respective resource, a task-specific requirements model and at least one uncertainty parameter, wherein the technical capability value describes a task-specific capability of the respective resource within a current and predicted technical system state; an optimization unit (60), configured to generate and evaluate multiple alternative technical system configurations based on the technical capability value;and a stability and reconfiguration unit (70), configured to perform a reconfiguration only if a selected system configuration achieves an improved overall technical rating compared to an existing system configuration and meets a stability criterion.
