A garment, in particular underwear, boxer shorts, briefs or similar garments, comprising a base material (20) with a closable opening area, characterized in that the opening area has a manually operable opening system by means of at least one externally arranged pull aid (11), which comprises at least one releasably cooperating hook and loop material (10), wherein the pull aid (11) cooperates with the opening system in such a way that the opening area can be opened by a pulling movement, and wherein at least the hard cutting edge (12) of the hook and loop material (10) is completely surrounded or completely covered by a textile protective lip (30), so that direct skin contact of the hard cutting edge (12) with the skin is prevented.
