Abstract

Device for processing logs into logs using a chainsaw, comprising a horizontal table construction made of solid wood elements, characterized in that the table construction has a top surface with a plurality of parallel, flat support elements (ribs) arranged to each other, between which there are recesses running transversely to the log length, the width of the support elements and the width of the recesses are in a fixed periodic grid dimension to each other, which is adapted to a desired target length of the log, and a continuous stop strip projecting upwards beyond the support elements is fixedly attached to one longitudinal side of the table construction as a roll-off and tip-over protection.
