Abstract

The clip functions as a double-acting spring: an outer (3) and an inner (2) spring. The outer diameter (3) acts as the clamping spring, allowing the clip to snap onto the knob. The inner diameter (2), due to its elasticity, adapts to the knob's shaft diameter, ensuring a tight, play-free fit. Together, these two springs secure the clip firmly onto the knob, thus fixing the strap securely to the guitar. In use, when the strap is subjected to stress in all directions, the outer ring (3) of the clip can follow these movements without the inner retaining ring (2) changing its position. The strap's secure hold is always guaranteed.
