Abstract

A vehicle-mounted head-up display system, characterized in that it comprises: • a first display module designed to display images captured by a streaming rearview mirror system and to generate a first image light, wherein the first image light is projected onto a windscreen in front of a driver and, after reflection off the windscreen, forms a first virtual image located outside the windscreen and received within the driver's eyebox area; • a second display module designed to display the contents of the head-up display and to generate a second image light, the second image light being projected onto the windscreen and, after reflection off the windscreen, forming a second virtual image that is located outside the windscreen and is received within the driver's eye box area.
