Abstract

Multimeter calibrator (100) for providing a DC voltage, DC current and resistance value to calibrate a multimeter, with at least one precision fixed resistor (108; 204) and at least one switch (202) to switch between a first mode and a second mode characterized by the fact that which at least one precision fixed resistor (108; 204) acts in the first mode as the resistance value (108; 204) for calibrating the multimeter and in the second mode as a shunt resistor (108; 204) for generating the direct current.
