Abstract

Muscle training device (100) for users comprising: - a pneumatic damper unit (1) with a piston (2) for providing a resisted lifting motion (3) with adjustable resistance for muscle training; and - a cable pull unit (4) with a cable (4a) for transmitting the resistance force, wherein the cable (4a) has a first end (5) and a second end (6) and wherein the first end (5) of the cable (4a) is force-conductingly connected to the pneumatic damper unit (1) and a user can apply a pulling force at the second end (6); characterized in that a transmission unit (7) with a conical pulley (8) for translating the resistance force of the pneumatic damper unit (1) is included and wherein the cable (4a) of the cable pull unit (4) is guided over a conical pulley (8) so that the pulling force for the user is variably adjustable relative to the resistance force, in particular constant.
