Abstract

Device (1) for slowing down and retrieving an object, in particular a hoof boot (4) or a ski, comprising a support element (2) which is connected to a traction element (3), wherein the traction element (3) connects the support element (2) and an object to be retrieved, characterized in that the support element (2) comprises a flow resistance element which is connected to the traction element (3), such that when the object to be retrieved is removed from the support element (2) the flow resistance element can be brought into a braking deployment state.
