Abstract

Connection flange for sealing building openings or connection areas, in particular of floor-level building elements, comprising a flat flange body, characterized in that the flange body is designed in multiple layers with: - an upper sealing layer made of bitumen, - a mechanically reinforcing, tear-resistant middle layer arranged below the bitumen layer, and - a self-adhesive layer arranged below the middle layer for fastening to a substrate, wherein the layers are arranged in the aforementioned order and are bonded together to form a composite, wherein the flange body is designed to be watertight and resistant to driving rain, and wherein the connection flange is designed as an independently sealing component.
