Abstract

Low-temperature district heating network (1) with at least one main storage tank (2, 2') for a heat transfer medium and several building connection stations (3) assigned to a respective building for its heat supply, wherein the main storage tank (2, 2') is configured to store the heat transfer medium at a first temperature, wherein the low-temperature district heating network (1) has a mixing device configured to mix a volume of the heat transfer medium at a lower second temperature with the heat transfer medium from the main storage tank (2, 2') for subsequent transport via a piping system to the building connection stations (3), wherein one, several or all building connection stations (3) each have at least one heat pump with which heat can be extracted from the transported heat transfer medium and made available at a higher third supply temperature in an internal heating circuit of the building.
