Zero-touch configuration system for data center bridging

Abstract

A zero-touch configuration system for data center bridging, comprising: a variety of network devices, including at least one switch, router, or server equipped with data center bridging capabilities; a configuration controller that communicates with the variety of network devices; a discovery module configured to automatically detect a network device when it connects to a network; an authentication module configured to verify the identity of the detected network device and authorize access; and a communication module configured to establish a secure communication channel between the network device and the configuration controller.a configuration engine configured to automatically assign and apply one or more data center bridging parameters to the network device, the parameters including at least priority-based flow control, advanced transfer selection, and congestion notification; and a validation module configured to check applied configurations against predefined policies, enabling zero-touch provisioning and configuration of the network device without manual intervention.
