Abstract

Fastening device (20) for fastening at least one solar or photovoltaic module to a high rib (18) of a sheet metal roof (10), comprising a mounting device (22) which defines a mounting plane (E) for the solar or photovoltaic module, and a clamping device (30) for clamping the fastening device (20) to the high rib (18), wherein the clamping device (30) is designed to interact with the high rib (18) in the mounted state in such a way that the clamping force has at least one force vector (42, 44) oriented obliquely to an axis (A) extending perpendicular to the mounting plane (E).
