Abstract

A lawnmower characterized in that the lawnmower comprises: a vehicle body; a chassis arranged on the vehicle body, wherein the chassis is designed to move the lawnmower on the ground, or wherein the lawnmower is movable on the ground by means of the chassis; a cutting assembly arranged on the vehicle body, wherein an axis of rotation of a cutting plane of the cutting assembly lies on one side of a plane of symmetry of the vehicle body; wherein the plane of symmetry is a virtual plane that runs parallel to a direction of travel of the chassis and passes through a center point or center of gravity of the vehicle body;a detection assembly arranged on the vehicle body, wherein an information detection window of the detection assembly lies at least partially on one side of the plane of symmetry and is located on the same side of the plane of symmetry as the axis of rotation of the cutting plane, wherein the detection assembly is designed to detect environmental information within a predetermined angular range in the direction of travel of the lawnmower.
