Abstract
An integrated dental diagnostic system with embedded electronic sensors, comprising: a probe body configured for intraoral positioning near a tooth surface; a plurality of embedded sensor units arranged within the body of the dental probe, the sensor units comprising at least one optical sensor unit configured to emit and receive light to detect variations in enamel reflection, at least one acoustic sensor unit configured to detect vibration responses of tooth structures, and at least one electrochemical sensor unit configured to detect variations in ion concentration in saliva and tooth interface areas; a signal acquisition unit electrically connected to the multiple sensor units and configured to receive raw analog signals corresponding to tooth conditions;an analog-to-digital converter unit configured to convert the raw analog signals into digital representations; a processing unit operationally coupled to the analog-to-digital converter unit and configured to perform multi-parameter correlation of the digital representations to identify dental anomalies such as caries, microcracks, and demineralization zones; a storage unit coupled to the processing unit for storing calibration data, patient-specific output parameters, and processed diagnostic results; and an output interface unit configured to deliver diagnostic results in a human-readable format.
