A decentralized, blockchain-based vehicle registration and lifecycle management system, comprising: a blockchain network configured to maintain an immutable distributed ledger; one or more smart contracts deployed on the blockchain network and configured to store and manage vehicle-related data; a data storage structure configured to record vehicle information, including a vehicle identification number (VIN), manufacturer details, model information, ownership data, mileage, and timestamped transaction records; a cryptographic authentication mechanism configured to authenticate users using blockchain wallet addresses; and a role-based access control mechanism configured to assign permissions to authorized stakeholders, including manufacturers, dealers, and service centers.where the smart contracts are configured to validate, record and update events in the vehicle lifecycle, including registration, service updates and inspection, in the immutable distributed ledger.
