Abstract

A mobile robot characterized in that the mobile robot comprises: a vehicle body; wheels, wherein at least two of the wheels are arranged on opposite sides of the vehicle body along a lateral direction; an extension assembly, wherein, along a direction of travel in which the wheels move the vehicle body, the extension assembly is arranged at a rear end of the vehicle body and lies on a side of a first plane facing away from a front end of the vehicle body, wherein the extension assembly is configured for electrical and / or structural connection with an external device; wherein the first plane is a plane in which the axes of the at least two wheels lie, and wherein the first plane is perpendicular to the ground.
