Abstract

A cleaning robot characterized in that it comprises: a main housing designed to move autonomously; a brush roller assembly detachably attached to the main housing, the brush roller assembly comprising a brush chamber and a brush roller mounted in the brush chamber, the brush roller being designed to come into contact with the surface to be cleaned in order to pick up dirt particles and liquids; and a brush roller adjustment mechanism designed to simultaneously adjust the lateral extension and vertical height of the brush roller, the brush roller adjustment mechanism comprising a drive unit, an adjustment chamber, and a linkage;wherein the linkage pivotably connects the brush roller to the traversing device, wherein the adjustment chamber is designed such that, when the traversing device is moved, it interacts with the linkage to cause the linkage to change between an inclined position and an upright position, thereby automatically adjusting the vertical height of the brush roller within the brush chamber.
