Abstract
Roof window (1) comprising a frame (2), a sash (3) supporting a pane (4), a set of hinges (6) connecting the sash (3) to the frame (2), and an opening support arrangement (10) comprising a telescopic arrangement (11) with a spring unit (12) comprising a gas spring, the gas spring being arranged in a cylinder (13), and a piston rod (14), the piston rod (14) being connected at one end to the spring unit (12) and having a free end (14a) projecting from the cylinder (13) at one end (13a) of the cylinder (13), the telescopic arrangement (11) defining a longitudinal direction (L) and being configured to assume an extended position when the roof window (1) is open and a retracted position when the roof window (1) is closed, and a connecting mechanism (20) for connecting the telescopic arrangement (11) to the frame (2) and the sash (3) of the roof window (1),and a locking device (16), characterized in that the opening support arrangement (10) comprises a housing (17) arranged around the piston rod (14) of the telescopic arrangement (11), with a first housing end (17a) connected to the free end (14a) of the piston rod (14) and a second housing end (17b) slidably abutting the cylinder (13) of the telescopic arrangement (11), that the locking device (16) comprises a locking plate (161) with a keyhole (162), wherein a first dimensional section (162a) of the keyhole (162) corresponds to a diameter of the cylinder (13) and a second dimensional section (162b) of the keyhole (162) corresponds to a diameter of the piston rod (14), wherein the locking plate (161) is in an unlocked position in the retracted position of the telescopic arrangement (11), in which the first Dimensional section (162a) interacts with the cylinder (13),and that the locking device (16) further comprises a spring lever (163) which is connected at a first spring lever end (163a) to the housing (17) and is configured to engage at a second spring lever end (163b) with the locking plate (161) in order to bias the locking plate (161) towards a locking position, so that the cylinder (13) of the telescopic arrangement (11) is configured to move away from the housing (17) during the opening of the roof window (1) until the cylinder (13) leaves the first dimension section (162a) of the keyhole (162) of the locking plate (161) of the locking device (16) and the locking plate (161) can move towards its locking position, the second dimension section (162b) of the keyhole (162) cooperating with the piston rod (14) in such a manner thatto block movement of the opening support assembly (10) in the extended position of the telescopic arrangement (11).
