Abstract
A system for secure authentication using dynamic risk profiling, comprising: an authentication processor that communicates with one or more user devices, access terminals, network infrastructures, and protected computing resources; a communication interface configured to receive authentication request data and associated contextual information from one or more user devices via secure communication channels; a contextual data capture processor configured to capture multidimensional authentication-related information, including device identification parameters, geographic location information, network characteristics, access time information, application state information, user interaction information, environmental conditions, and historical access records associated with a user session;a feature extraction processor that is operationally coupled with the context-acquisition processor and configured to transform acquired authentication-related information into structured authentication vectors through signal normalization, parameter encoding, temporal sequence processing, and context-related feature generation procedures; a dynamic risk profiling processor configured to continuously generate updated authentication profiles by correlating the structured authentication vectors with historical behavioral features and previously stored authentication activity records associated with one or more authentication entities;an anomaly detection processor configured to identify discrepancies between current authentication-related characteristics and basic behavioral characteristics through adaptive pattern matching and multidimensional context analysis; a threat intelligence processor configured to receive external security information, including malicious infrastructure identifiers, compromised credential information, attack signature information, and network threat indicators, and to correlate this external security information with authentication-related information; a risk assessment processor configured to generate a composite authentication risk score based on the outputs of the dynamic risk profiling processor, the anomaly detection processor, and the threat analysis processor;an adaptive authentication processor configured to selectively determine authentication actions based on the composite authentication risk score, including credential verification, secondary authentication methods, biometric authentication methods, cryptographic challenge methods, privilege restriction methods, or access denial methods; and a session monitoring processor configured to continuously monitor user activity after authentication and initiate corrective authentication measures upon detection of anomalous session behavior.
