Abstract
A system for autonomous, unified, decentralized energy generation with load planning, consisting of: a photovoltaic system configured to convert solar energy into electrical energy based on solar irradiance and ambient temperature; a wind turbine system configured to generate electrical energy based on wind speed at hub height; a battery storage system connected to the photovoltaic system and the wind turbine, configured to store excess electrical energy and supply electrical energy to consumers, the battery storage system comprising a battery and an inverter for bidirectional power flow control; a diesel generator designed to provide emergency power during periods of high electricity demand, for maintenance of the photovoltaic system and the wind turbine, and during adverse weather conditions;a methanol generator configured to produce electrical energy using methanol as fuel, obtained by gasification from biomass; a power converter configured to maintain voltage on a common DC link and deliver power to consumers; a computer configured to run an offline load planning algorithm for scheduling time-variable loads based on available surplus energy on a given day; and a load management module connected to the computer configured to classify loads into production loads, fixed loads, and time-variable loads, thus enabling efficient load management.
