Abstract

Magnetostrictive displacement sensor, characterized in that it comprises: a housing structure, wherein the housing structure is provided at both ends in a first direction with an opening and an outer tube structure; an end plate structure that is sealed to the opening, wherein a cable is arranged in the end plate structure which is connected to an external device; a circuit assembly that is arranged in the housing structure and comprises a hollow mounting structure and at least one printed circuit board arranged on the mounting structure;an induction module arranged in the housing structure, wherein part of the induction module is arranged in the mounting structure, the induction module being electrically connected to the cable via the circuit board, the induction module comprising a magnetostrictive sensor assembly at another end in the first direction, the magnetostrictive sensor assembly being arranged in the outer tube structure; wherein the induction module is a self-contained sealed modular structure.
