Battery module comprising at least one battery cell module (1) comprising at least one battery cell row, wherein the battery cell row comprises several cylindrical battery cells (11) arranged sequentially along a first direction, wherein the axial direction of each of the cylindrical battery cells (11) is aligned parallel to a second direction, wherein an explosion protection valve (111) of each of the cylindrical battery cells (11) is arranged at an end face of the cylindrical battery cell (11) along the second direction, wherein the first direction is aligned perpendicular to the second direction, wherein, when the battery module is mounted on a vehicle, the second direction is aligned parallel to a floor support plate of the vehicle.
