Abstract

Header (1) for a housing for an optoelectronic component, comprising: a base body (10) formed from a first metallic material and having a top surface (11), a mounting opening (12) and through-holes (14) for electrical conductors (22); a pedestal (30) formed from a second metallic material and inserted into the mounting opening (12), the pedestal (30) having a mounting surface (32) for mounting an optoelectronic component; and electrical feedthroughs (20), each comprising an electrical conductor (22) extending through one of the through-holes (14), the pedestal (30) having a projection (34) extending over the top surface (11) of the base body (10), and the mounting surface (32) being arranged on the projection (34).
