Abstract

Fire detection arrangement (1) for detecting a fire (2) in a monitoring area (3), comprising a camera device (4), wherein the camera device (4) is configured to generate image data (5) of a scene (6) to be monitored in the monitoring area (3), comprising a fire detection unit (7), wherein the fire detection unit (7) is configured to determine a first fire prediction (8) for the scene (6) to be monitored, characterized by a verification device (9), wherein the verification device (9) is configured to verify the first fire prediction (8) on the basis of a semantic context of the scene (6) in the image data (5) and to output a corrected fire prediction (11).
