Abstract

Pneumatic tire with a fixed direction of rotation when mounted on a vehicle, characterized in that the pneumatic tire has several inclined grooves on its tread area, extending inwards from the tread edges TE in the tire width direction towards the front mounting side; the several inclined grooves are arranged at a distance from each other in both the one and the other half of the tire width - limited by the tire equator plane CL - in the tire circumferential direction, wherein several ribs are defined by the inclined grooves; the ribs of one tire half are each connected to the ribs of the other tire half; each rib has several microsipes, each microsip consisting of a pair of microsips, each extending from a connection point on the front mounting side to the rear mounting side;both the respective connection point of each microsip and all ends on the rear mounting side of each microsip terminate completely within the associated web; the microsips are arranged side by side in the tire circumferential direction and each forms a microsip row, with several such microsip rows being placed side by side in the tire width direction.
