Abstract

A softpack battery, characterized in that it comprises: a housing (10) having a receiving space, wherein the housing (10) comprises a first housing (11) and a second housing (12), wherein the first housing (11) and the second housing (12) each have a flange edge, wherein the flange edge of the first housing (11) and the flange edge of the second housing (12) are tightly connected to each other and thus form a sealing edge (101), wherein the first housing (11) and the second housing (12) each comprise an inner adhesive layer (13), a middle metal layer (14) and an outer protective layer (15); a battery cell (20) arranged in the receiving space; an electrode tab discharge section (30) which is electrically connected to the battery cell (20) and is led out from the sealing edge (101) into the exterior of the housing (10);an insulating sealing layer (40) arranged between the electrode tab discharge section (30) and the sealing edge (101); wherein the first housing, the second housing and the insulating sealing layer coincide in projection to form a first overlap region, wherein in the first overlap region the distance between the middle metal layer (14) located at the sealing edge (101) of the first housing (11) and the middle metal layer (14) located at the sealing edge (101) of the second housing (12) in the first direction (X) is designated by a; wherein along the discharge direction (Y) of the electrode tab discharge section (30) the bonding length between the insulating sealing layer (40) and the sealing edge (101) is designated by d, satisfying the condition 0.4 mm² ≤ d*a ≤ 9.5 mm², where the unit of a and d is mm, respectively;wherein the direction of conduction (Y) of the electrode tab conduction section (30) is perpendicular to the first direction (X).
