Housing for automatic filters

Abstract

Housing arrangement (2) for an automatic filter (1), comprising a hollow cylindrical filter holder (3) for receiving a filter candle (9) and a cleaning shaft (10) arranged to rotate in the filter candle (9) for cleaning it, wherein the filter holder (3) has at least one inlet (5) and at least one outlet (6); a linear guide (20) arranged on an outside of the filter holder (3) and extending parallel to the axial extent (AX1) of the filter holder (3); a drive arrangement (17) mounted on the linear guide (20) and adjustable along the linear guide (20) for driving the cleaning shaft (10), the drive arrangement (17) comprising a drive device (17.1) and a drive shaft (17.2) driven by the drive device (17.1) and extending parallel to the axial extent (AX1) of the filter holder (3); a cover arrangement (14) supported on the drive arrangement (17) with a cover (14.1) for the filter holder (3) and a shaft stub (14.2) passing through the cover (14.1) for driving the cleaning shaft (10); and a gearbox (19) for transmitting a drive torque between the drive shaft (17.2) and the shaft stub (14.2); wherein the cover arrangement (14) is fixed to the drive arrangement (17) in the axial direction (AX1, AX2) and is arranged to pivot about the drive shaft (17.2).
