Abstract

A battery characterized in that it comprises: a housing having a receiving chamber, wherein the housing has an opening connected to the receiving chamber; a cell pole assembly comprising a cell pole and a fastening element, wherein the fastening element is arranged in the region of the opening of the housing and is firmly connected to the housing and to the cell pole, respectively; a cell, wherein the cell is arranged in the receiving chamber, wherein the cell has a pole end facing the opening, wherein the cell comprises a pole flag arranged at the pole end, the pole flag extending through the opening to the cell pole and being welded to the cell pole, thereby forming a weld trace;wherein, with the cell pole assembly fully assembled, the distance between the end face of the pole vane end and the cell pole in a longitudinal direction of the housing is H in mm, and wherein, with the pole vane unwound in the longitudinal direction of the housing, the distance between the end face of the pole vane end and the weld track is L in mm, and wherein L and H satisfy the condition: 15 mm ≤ L - H ≤ 23 mm.;
