Abstract

A composition for improving visual function, comprising at least one formulation unit (10) for improving visual function, which consists of a lutein component (11), a zeaxanthin component (12) and a meso-zeaxanthin component (13), characterized in that the formulation unit (10) for improving visual function is spherically shaped such that the lutein component (11), the zeaxanthin component (12) and the meso-zeaxanthin component (13) are arranged sequentially from the outside in and enclose each other, wherein the ratio between the lutein component (11), the zeaxanthin component (12) and the meso-zeaxanthin component (13) is 5:1:5.
