Fluid housing (14) for a valve (12), comprising a coupling mechanism (32) for mechanically connecting the fluid housing (14) to further fluid housings (14), each having a corresponding coupling mechanism (32), and a main fluid channel (22) penetrating the fluid housing (14) and extending from a fluid inlet (24) to a fluid outlet (26), wherein the coupling mechanism (32) has an axially projecting coupling extension (34) arranged at a first end of the main fluid channel (22) such that the main fluid channel (22) passes through the coupling extension (34), and a coupling receptacle (36) arranged at the second end of the main fluid channel (22), and wherein the coupling mechanism (32) has a detent mechanism (38) with a detent element integrally formed on the coupling extension (34) or formed in the coupling receptacle (36).
