Abstract

Insect trap made of a blade-shaped material, see Fig. (A), comprising over its entire surface a plurality of closely spaced protrusions, see Fig. (A-1), wherein each of the protrusions terminates at its uppermost section either in a pointed or ribbed form, see Fig. (A-1.1), wherein the uppermost region of the pointed or ribbed forms, see Fig. (A-1.1), is provided with a smooth, glossy coating or is left uncoated, and wherein all other surface areas are coated with a soft, sticky adhesive that is not air-drying, see Fig. (A-1).
