Abstract
A lithium-ion secondary battery characterized in that it comprises a positive electrode plate, a negative electrode plate, and an electrolyte, wherein the positive electrode plate comprises a positive electrode current collector and a positive electrode film layer arranged on at least one side of the positive electrode current collector, wherein the positive electrode film layer comprises a positive electrode active material, wherein the positive electrode active material comprises lithium-containing transition metal phosphate particles, wherein at least a portion of the surface of the particles is provided with a carbon coating material, and wherein, based on the total surface area of the particles in a cross-sectional area of the positive electrode film layer along the thickness direction of the electrode plate, the surface area fraction of the particles whose particle size R1 meets the condition 1.5 µm ≤ R1 < 5 µm is 10.0% to 20.0%, the surface area fraction of the particleswhose particle size R2 meets the condition 50 nm ≤ R2 < 200 nm is 5.0% to 12.0%, and the surface area fraction of the particles whose particle size R3 meets the condition 200 nm ≤ R3 < 1.5 µm is 73.0% to 80.0%; and wherein the particle size concentration (DA90-DA10) / DA50 of the particles whose particle size R3 meets is 1.40 to 1.683.
