Description
AREA OF INVENTION
[0001] The present invention relates to a device for the gentle capture of insects. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0002] Devices for catching insects are known in the prior art.
[0003] For example, reference should be made to the documents DE 20 2020 003587 U1, US 2013 / 097917 A1, US 5 207 018 A, CN 100 409 744 C, EP 0 615 687 A1, WO 2017 / 194846 A2 and JP 2020 000118 A. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0004] Catching insects that have wandered into a house, for example, can prove difficult. Often, the appropriate equipment is lacking to catch the insects as gently and alive as possible and release them outdoors. This is especially true because insects have a habit of fleeing into corners or tight spaces.
[0005] One task is therefore to provide a device that is suitable for gently capturing insects alive and, in particular, for catching them in cramped areas.
[0006] The invention is defined by the subject matter of the attached claims, which are to be interpreted in light of the description and the drawings.
[0007] A first aspect of the invention relates to a device for the gentle capture of insects according to claim 1.
[0008] A second aspect of the invention relates to a device for the gentle capture of insects according to claim 9.
[0009] Exemplary embodiments are described in the dependent claims.
[0010] According to an exemplary embodiment of the invention, a device is provided wherein the flat area and the receiving area have a flattened side, so that the device can receive an insect in a corner.
[0011] An angled or flattened shape of the receiving area enables the device according to the invention to enter corners in order to collect insects that have fled there.
[0012] According to an exemplary embodiment of the invention, a device is provided wherein the flat area and / or the receiving area has air holes.
[0013] The arrangement of air holes or recesses ensures an adequate supply of air to the insects. Furthermore, the insect can be observed and assessed.
[0014] According to a further embodiment of the present invention, a device is provided wherein the stem of the cover corresponds to the stem of the receiver in such a way that the stem can be moved along the stem.
[0015] The complementary design of the respective stems enables movement and thus opening and closing of the receiving area. Additionally, it ensures that the cover and the receiving area of the device according to the invention are connected and therefore cannot be lost. According to a further embodiment of the present invention, a device is provided in which the receiving area and / or the cover has a guide rail on the stem, and the cover or the receiving area can be moved within the guide rail.
[0016] In a further embodiment according to the invention, a device is provided wherein a projection is guided in a groove of the guide rail.
[0017] In a further embodiment of the invention, a device is provided wherein the stem of the cover and the stem of the receptacle each have a corresponding guide rail, whereby the receptacle and the cover can be moved relative to each other along the respective stem.
[0018] In a further embodiment of the invention, a device is provided wherein the cover and the receptacle are assembled or threaded in the outer area of the respective stems, which are not adjacent to the flat area or the receptacle area.
[0019] This allows the device to be designed such that, in the open state where the flat area is not in contact with the receiving area, it has degrees of freedom to facilitate assembly and insertion of the cover onto the receiving area. Advantageously, the device can then be designed such that, in the closed state where the flat area is in contact with the receiving area, there are no degrees of freedom, thus creating a secure closure.
[0020] In a further embodiment of the invention, a device is provided wherein the cover and the receptacle are assembled or threaded in the outer area of the respective stems, which are not adjacent to the flat area or the receptacle area, and / or wherein the guide rails of the stems, when closed, have a small distance between them in the area adjacent to the flat area or the receptacle area and a large distance between them in the area farther from the flat area or the receptacle area, thereby facilitating threading and enabling a tight closure of the flat area onto the receptacle area.
[0021] In a further embodiment according to the invention, a device is provided wherein, in the closed state, if the flat area is arranged on the receiving area, the stems generate a contact pressure of the flat area on the receiving area.
[0022] A secure closure is guaranteed by the pressure exerted by the cover on the recess when closed.
[0023] In a further embodiment of the invention, a device is provided wherein the guide rails of the stems have an angle to each other, so that the flat area does not run parallel to the receiving area when closing, but at an angle and / or wherein the angle is between 1° and 5°, in particular 3°, whereby a contact pressure of the flat area on the receiving area is generated in the closed state.
[0024] One aspect of the invention is to provide a live trap for insects, the device serving for the gentle capture of the insects. This allows, for example, the classification of an insect while it is at rest. The device according to the invention comprises, in particular, two parts that can be moved relative to each other in such a way that a receiving area for insects can be opened and closed again.
[0025] The device according to the invention is preferably made of plastic and has holes in its receiving area to allow for the inspection of insects caught therein. The device comprises a collection container or receptacle and a sliding cover, the sliding cover being positioned over the collection container. According to the invention, the receptacle has a guide rail on its stem in which the stem of the cover can be moved. The receptacle or cover can have a sliding knob to allow the receptacle to be moved relative to the cover.
[0026] The individual features can of course also be combined with each other, which can sometimes result in advantageous effects that go beyond the sum of the individual effects. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
[0027] Further details and advantages of the invention will become clear with reference to the exemplary embodiments shown in the drawings. These show Fig. 1 a cover 8 of a device for gently catching insects, Fig. 2 a receptacle 9 of a device according to the invention, Fig. 3 a cover 8 which is not arranged over the receiving area 6 of a receptacle 9, Fig. 4 a closed device according to the invention and Fig. 5 a closed device according to the invention which is mounted upright. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF EXAMPLE EXECUTIONS
[0028] Fig. 1 Figure 1 shows a part of a device according to the invention for catching spiders, bees, and other insects. The upper part of the device according to the invention is shown, including the cover 8, which can be slid onto a receptacle so that insects or bees can be caught alive. The cover 8 comprises a handle and a guide rail, allowing a receptacle 9 to be moved towards the cover 8. The flat area 1 of the cover has a trapezoidal shape, enabling the cover 8 to be guided into corners.
[0029] The cover 8 has a recess 10 on the handle / stem 3, which serves to suspend the cover or the entire device according to the invention. The handle / stem 3 has a wave-shaped notch on its inner surface so that the cover 8 can be held and locked with the receptacle 9, which has a corresponding wave-shaped notch. Furthermore, the handle / stem 3 has a stop to prevent the receptacle 9 from being pushed beyond the handle / stem 3 of the cover 8.
[0030] Fig. 2 Figure 1 shows an insect receptacle 6, which is arranged on a stem 7. The receptacle 6 is offset forward by approximately 2 cm, allowing the insect-catching device to reach corners more effectively. The receptacle 6 has a trapezoidal shape, corresponding to that of the cover 8.
[0031] The receiving area 6 is shaped to correspond to the flat area 1, such that the receiving area 6 has rounded corner areas that correspond to the trapezoidal shape of the flat area 1. This facilitates movement of the device according to the invention in corners.
[0032] Fig. 3 Figure 8 shows the complete device for the gentle capture of insects, with the cover 8 having a flat area 1 with air holes or recesses. The flat area 1 of the cover 8 can be slid over the receptacle 9, allowing an insect in the receptacle 6 to be captured in the device. This makes it possible to gently transfer the insect to another location. The receptacle 6 of the receptacle 9 has air holes, ensuring the insect continues to receive oxygen. The stem 3 of the cover 8 is shaped to correspond with and slide along the stem 7 of the receptacle 9.
[0033] Fig. 4 Figure 1 shows the intake area 6 of the intake 9, which is closed by the flat area 1 of the cover 8, so that insects are trapped within the intake area 6. The device has flattened sides 2, so that the device can also be used for insects located in corners.
[0034] Fig. 5 Figure 1 shows the closed device in a side view with the stem 7 and the recess 5 and a closed receiving area 6.
[0035] Another inventive embodiment features a continuous groove over the entire stem 3 of the cover 8 or the stem 7 of the receptacle 9, whereby, in particular, a complementary projection can be displaced over the entire length of the stem 7 of the receptacle 9 or the stem 3 of the cover 8. This allows for the creation of a receptacle area 6 of any desired size.
[0036] In a further inventive embodiment, the device is designed such that the respective complementary guide rails of the stems 3 and 7 are threaded in at the outer end and not at the end of the stem adjacent to the receiving area 6 or the flat area 1. This allows the stems 3 and 7 to be designed such that, when the receiving area 6 is closed, a contact pressure of the flat area 1 is exerted on the receiving area 6, thus ensuring that the receiving area 6 is tightly closed.
[0037] The embodiment according to the invention is therefore designed such that the cover is threaded into place at the rear end of the receptacle and not at its front end, which is close to the receiving container. Therefore, when the device is closed, there are no degrees of freedom that could result in a leak in the receiving area.
[0038] It should be noted that the term "include" does not exclude further elements or procedural steps, just as the terms "a" and "an" do not exclude multiple elements and steps.
[0039] The reference symbols used serve only to increase clarity and should in no way be considered restrictive, the scope of protection of the invention being defined by the claims. LIST OF REFERENCE MARKS
