Description

[0001] The invention relates to a lifting and transport device according to the preamble of claim 1.

[0002] In this application, the term "preloading" a bolted joint refers to both friction- and torsion-free preloading, in which only a tensile force is applied to the bolt and the nut is then turned, and rotary preloading – e.g., according to the torque or angle-of-rotation method.

[0003] Accordingly, for the purposes of this application, the term "screwing tools" includes both tension-applying screwing tools, e.g., screw tensioning cylinders, and rotary screwing tools, e.g., torque screwdrivers or rotary screwdrivers, whereby the screwing tools can be automatic or manual.

[0004] Furthermore, a screw position is understood to be a position of a screw tool in which it can pre-tension a screw connection.

[0005] For the purposes of this application, "load space" refers to the space occupied by the load to be lifted or transported, i.e., the space occupied by the screwing tool.

[0006] A lifting and transport device of this type is known from DE 10 2012 009 255 A1. With such a device, bolted connections in flanged joints can be pre-tensioned. The bolt is inserted from below through the aligned through-holes in the components to be joined until the bolt head rests against the underside of the flange. A nut is then manually screwed onto the threaded end of the bolt on the upper side of the flange until it rests against the top of the flange. A tightening tool is held in the lifting and transport device above the upper side of the flange and is positioned above the bolted connection to be pre-tensioned before being lowered onto it. After the bolted connection has been pre-tensioned, the tightening tool is raised again by the lifting and transport device and moved to the next bolted connection.

[0007] From DE 10 2019 200 042 B3 a lifting and transport device is known with which screw connections in flange connections can be pre-tensioned, in which the screw bolt is inserted from above into the through holes of the flanges to be joined together and the nuts are screwed onto the screw bolts by hand on the underside of the flange.

[0008] DE 10 2022 105 559 B3 discloses a lifting and transport device with which screwing tools can also be engaged on inclined flanges on the flange top and / or on the flange bottom with a screw connection.

[0009] From KR 10 2013 0 026 039 A, a maintenance robot for tightening, inspecting, and marking bolts in flange connections of wind turbines is known. The maintenance robot is positioned in front of the flange face and has an upper and a lower arm for holding and tightening a bolt. It also has support sections that extend over and under the flange and are intended to stabilize the robot's movement when it is moved along the flange.

[0010] From US 2019 / 299346 A1, a counterholder is known that serves to prevent the nut and bolt from rotating together when pre-tensioning, re-tensioning, or loosening a bolted joint. The counterholder is connected to a tool carrier on which the clamping tool is mounted and has a counterholder main body connected at one end to a drive, which is also mounted on the tool carrier. The counterholder main body extends along the front face of the flanged joint and is connected at its other end to a counterholder section that extends below the flanged joint. The counterholder section is configured to engage with a hexagonal portion of the bolt (i.e.,The counterholder engages with the screw head of the bolted joint to be pre-tensioned, thus preventing the screw from rotating with the nut when the nut is turned to pre-tension (or re-tension or loosen) the joint. The counterholder is attached to the tool holder only by means of its drive mechanism. This drive mechanism is a rack and pinion drive. The rack and pinion drive moves the counterholder (more precisely, the counterholder section) into and out of engagement with the hexagonal part (screw head) of the screw and can operate transversely to the axis of the bolted joint (i.e., horizontally) or parallel to the axis of the bolted joint (i.e., vertically).

[0011] The object of the present invention is to increase the safety in the handling of a lifting and transport device of the generic type.

[0012] According to the invention, this problem is solved in a device of the type mentioned at the outset by the characterizing features of claim 1. Advantageous embodiments are the subject of the dependent claims.

[0013] The measures according to the invention prevent a lifting and transport device and the screwdriving tool attached to it from being catapulted away from the assembly site, thus preventing potential injury to persons, particularly the assembly personnel operating the lifting and transport device and the screwdriving tool, if the screw connection to be pre-tensioned or the connection between the screwdriving tool and the screw connection to be pre-tensioned breaks during the pre-tensioning process. Such breaks occur due to material defects and therefore cannot be ruled out. Since the applied pre-tensioning force acts in the lifting and transport device, the screwdriving tool, and the screw connection during the pre-tensioning process, this pre-tensioning force is suddenly released in the event of the aforementioned breaks, thus causing a sudden acceleration of the screwdriving tool and the lifting and transport device connected to it.Because the screwing tool is functionally connected to a tension anchor, which, in the case of the lifting and transport device being mounted on a flange, can be detachably connected to the flange or to at least one screw connection, both the screwing tool and the lifting and transport device connected to it are secured against uncontrolled lifting from the flange during pre-tensioning, and, on the other hand, after pre-tensioning the screw connection, it is possible to quickly move the lifting and transport device to the next screw connection to be pre-tensioned.

[0014] The term "functional" means that the tension anchor does not have to be directly attached to the screwing tool, but can also be indirectly connected to the screwing tool - for example, by means of the frame.

[0015] The invention takes advantage of the fact that during pre-tensioning, the lifting and transport device and the screwing tool are firmly connected to each other, and therefore only one of them needs to be connected to the tension anchor to secure both against uncontrolled lifting.

[0016] Furthermore, since the tension anchor is designed according to the invention to limit the lifting movement of the screw tool in the stroke direction to a predetermined dimension in the event of a break of the type in question, it is ensured that the screw tool has sufficient freedom of movement in the clamping or stroke direction up to the predetermined dimension during normal operation during the clamping process, i.e., that, for example, the maximum possible stroke in the lifting and transport device or a stroke required for the respective clamping process can be traversed by the screw tool without hindrance.

[0017] In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the tension anchor has an L-shaped web which is designed to extend with a first section along the flange end face and with a second section extending transversely to the first section along the flange underside, wherein the second section does not exceed a predetermined maximum clear distance to the flange underside, at least on a partial section, wherein the L-shaped web is designed to be rigid and is rigidly connected to the frame and is designed to limit the lifting movement of the frame in the lifting direction to a second predetermined dimension by means of a positive fit between the flange underside and at least the said partial section of the second section of the L-shaped web. These measures make the tension anchor extremely easy to install, as the tension anchor is ready for use simply by sliding the lifting and transport device onto the flange for pre-tensioning and then sliding it on to the next bolted connection after pre-tensioning. The tension anchor is attached to the frame, allowing the bolting tool to move freely within the frame along its stroke while remaining firmly connected to the frame via its mounting on the sliding bracket, thus preventing uncontrolled lifting.

[0018] Advantageously, the L-shaped bridge has two L-shaped bridge sections that are spaced apart from each other in the transport direction and run parallel to each other. This ensures stability against tipping about an axis running perpendicular to the transport direction and parallel to the flange, so that in the event of a breakage, as discussed here, the vertical alignment of the lifting and transport device, including the screw tool, is essentially maintained, and therefore major damage to the lifting and transport device and the screw tool, which can occur in the event of a tip-over, is not to be expected.

[0019] In a favorable further development of the invention, the second section of the L-shaped bridge is designed to end before the screw connections. This allows the manufacturing effort for the tension anchorage to be kept relatively low.

[0020] In a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, the second sections of the two L-shaped web parts are each designed, on at least one subsection, to engage behind the screw connections adjacent to the screw connection to be preloaded, and the engaging subsections are those subsections that do not exceed the specified maximum clear distance to the underside of the flange. With these measures, the lifting and transport device is additionally secured against slipping perpendicular to the transport direction over the flange face and simultaneously also secured against tipping about an axis parallel to the transport direction, since, depending on the direction of tipping, the subsections engaging the screw connections either rest against the engaged screw connections or against the component wall extending downwards from the flange.

[0021] Preferably, the L-shaped web is further designed to form, in conjunction with the first support located on the upper surface of the flange, a C-shaped, rigid structure which, in the event of a failure of the pre-tensioned bolted connection or the connection of the bolting tool to the pre-tensioned bolted connection, limits the tilting angle of the frame about an axis parallel to the transport direction to a predetermined value by means of positive locking with the flange. This further increases the tilting stability and also increases the tilting moment that can be absorbed.

[0022] In a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, the tension anchor has at least one tension element that is attached to the frame and has a screw connection that can be screwed onto the threaded end of a screw connection projecting from a nut on the upper surface of the flange. Such a tension anchor can also be manufactured cost-effectively and assembled relatively quickly.

[0023] Preferably, the frame has a cross brace which, when the lifting and transport device is mounted on a flange, extends above the bolted connection to be pre-tensioned. The tension element extends transversely across the cross brace from the side facing the flange face to the side facing away from the flange face and can be screwed onto a threaded end of a bolted connection protruding from a nut on both sides of the frame. These measures significantly reduce the manufacturing and assembly costs of a tension anchor.

[0024] In a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, the tension anchor is formed from two separate tension elements, each attached to one of the frame parts and having a screw connection that can be screwed onto the threaded end of a screw connection projecting from a nut on the upper side of the flange. Such a tension anchor is, firstly, easier to manufacture and assemble, and secondly, more reliable in operation, since if one tension element breaks, the other tension element can still perform its function.

[0025] Preferably, each screw connection has a quick-release or clamping mechanism that allows for quick connection and release of the threaded end protruding via a nut. This further reduces assembly time.

[0026] Preferably, at least the second support is magnetic. This allows the lifting and transport device to be brought into even better contact with the component wall and prevents tipping in the event of a break in the pre-tensioned screw connection or the connection between the screw tool and the pre-tensioned screw connection.

[0027] The invention will be explained in more detail below with reference to the drawings, which show: Figures 1 to 4 show a vertical side view, a front view, a top view and a perspective view of a first embodiment of a lifting and transport device according to the invention, used in the production of a bolted flange connection, still without a screw tool; Figure 5 shows the front view from Figure 2, with screw tool; Figures 6 to 10 a vertical side view, a front view, a top view, a bottom view and a perspective view of a second embodiment of a lifting and transport device according to the invention, used in the production of a bolted flange connection, still without screw tool; Figure 11 the front view from Figure 7 , with screw tool; Figures 12 to 15 a vertical side view, a front view, a top view and a perspective view of a third embodiment of a lifting and transport device according to the invention, used in the production of a bolted flange connection, still without screw tool; Figure 16 the front view from Figure 13 , with screwdrivers.

[0028] The figures show embodiments of a lifting and transport device according to the invention for use with a screw tensioning cylinder. However, with simple design modifications, a lifting and transport device according to the invention can be used for any other automatic or manual screwdriving tool.

[0029] The embodiments of a lifting and transport device 1 according to the invention, as shown in the figures, comprise a frame 2, a mounting device 3, a lifting device 4, first, second and third supports 5, 6, 7 and an auxiliary support 8. The lifting direction is designated by 9 and the transport direction by 10.

[0030] The frame 2 is formed from two frame parts 11, 12, which are arranged on the upper flange surface 13 in the transport direction 10 in front of and behind a load compartment 14 and extend perpendicular to the transport direction 10 beside and above the load compartment 14. The clear distance between the two frame parts 11, 12 is designed in the illustrated embodiments to accommodate a screw connection 15 and a screw tensioning cylinder 16 mounted on it ( Figures 5 , 11 and 16 ).

[0031] The frame parts 11, 12 are each formed from first and second frame sections 11a, 11b; 12a, 12b. The first frame sections 11a, 12a are each L-shaped. Their first ends are each located in a region between the flange face 17 and the bolted connections 15. From there, the first frame sections 11a, 12a extend upwards and then over the bolted connections 15 adjacent to the bolted connection 15a to be preloaded. There, their second ends are rigidly connected, for example by bolts, to a first end of the second frame sections 11b, 12b. The second frame sections 11b, 12b extend vertically beyond the top surface 16a of the bolt tensioning cylinder 16 to be accommodated.

[0032] The free, first ends of the first frame sections 11a, 12a are connected by a lower crossbar 18 and the free, second ends of the second frame sections 11b, 12b by an upper crossbar 19.

[0033] In the second frame sections 11b and 12b, a longitudinal slot 20 is formed in each section, in which the mounting device 3 is slidably mounted. The mounting device 3 is designed as a strut extending in the transport direction, which is vertically slidably mounted at its ends in the slots 20. At the midpoint of its longitudinal extent, the mounting device 3 has a fastening for the screw tensioning cylinder 16, in order to lower the screw tensioning cylinder 16 before pre-tensioning the screw connection 15a and to lift it off after pre-tensioning.

[0034] The lifting device 4 is attached to the second frame sections 11b, 12b. In the illustrated embodiment, it has a gas spring 21 on each of the second frame sections 11b, 12b, the first end 22 of which is fixedly attached near the first end of the second frame sections 11b, 12b, and the second end 23 of which is connected to an end of the mounting device 3 on the side of the second frame sections 11b, 12b facing away from the load compartment 14. With the aid of the gas springs 21, the screw tool 16, i.e., in the illustrated case the screw tensioning cylinder, is pushed upwards against gravity after the screw connection 15a has been pre-tensioned / loosened. The screw tool 16 is fixedly connected to the mounting device 3. It can, for example, be screwed to the mounting device 3 or held by it magnetically or by a positive locking mechanism (e.g., by means of locking pins).

[0035] At each of the two ends of the lower cross member 18, a first roller 24 is rotatably mounted, its axis of rotation running horizontally and perpendicular to the transport direction 10. The two first rollers 24 together form a first pair of rollers. This pair is designed to rest against the upper surface 13 of a flange 25 and forms the first support 5.

[0036] The term "flange 25" refers here to a flange connection or pairing with an upper flange and a lower flange. The flange 25 can be straight or ring-shaped, in the form of an inner or outer ring.

[0037] The bearing direction 5a of the first support 5 runs perpendicular to the transport direction 10 in lifting direction 9. These rollers 24 lie on the upper side 13 of the flange 25 between the screw connections 15 and the flange edge 26, so that they can roll off between the screw nuts 27 and the flange edge 26 when rolling on to the adjacent screw connection 15.

[0038] Near the second, free ends of the two second frame sections 11b, 12b, a second roller 28 is rotatably mounted on the upper cross member 19 about a pivot axis 29, which runs vertically and perpendicular to the transport direction 10. Together, they form a second pair of rollers. This pair is designed for horizontal contact with a component wall 30 rising perpendicularly from the flange 25 and forms the second support 6. Its support direction 6a runs perpendicular to the transport direction 10 and perpendicular to the lifting direction 9, i.e., perpendicular to the support direction 5a. The rollers 28 rest against the component wall 30 above the end of the screw connection 15a and can thus roll freely along the component wall 30 in the transport direction 10. The second rollers 28 can each be displaced horizontally by a predetermined amount transversely to the transport direction 10 to ensure secure contact with the component wall 30.They can be locked in their desired horizontal position by means of a locking device. In addition, the second rollers 28 can be magnetic so that the lifting and transport device 1 can be brought into even better contact with the component wall 30 and tipping can be prevented in the event of a break in the pre-tensioned screw connection 15a or the connection of the screw tool 16 to the pre-tensioned screw connection 15a.

[0039] The first and second pairs of rollers, i.e., the first and second supports 5, 6, are spaced apart in lifting direction 9 at a distance that essentially corresponds to the length of the frame sections 11, 12. Their distance perpendicular to the transport direction 10 and to lifting direction 9 essentially corresponds to the horizontal extent of the first frame sections 11a, 12a.

[0040] Furthermore, near the first free ends of the two first frame sections 11a, 12a, a third roller 32 is rotatably attached to lugs 31, which are rigidly fastened to the lower cross member 18. The axis of rotation 33 of these rollers runs vertically and perpendicular to the transport direction 10. This third pair of rollers is designed to rest horizontally against the flange face 17 and forms the third support 7. Its bearing direction 7a runs parallel to the bearing direction 6a of the second support 6. These rollers 32 are horizontally displaceable in the lugs 31 transversely to the transport direction 10 in elongated holes 34 to ensure contact with the flange face 17. They can be locked in their desired horizontal position by means of a further locking device 35.

[0041] Each of the first frame sections 11a and 12a has an auxiliary support 8 attached, designed to engage behind the bolted connections 15 adjacent to the bolted connection 15a to be preloaded. The auxiliary supports 8 are adjustable in both their horizontal and vertical positions by means of an adjustment device to ensure secure contact with the adjacent bolted connections 15. They can be locked in their desired horizontal and vertical positions by means of further locking devices (not shown).

[0042] The in the Figures 1 to 5The illustrated embodiment of a lifting and transport device 1 according to the invention has a tensile anchorage 40, which is designed as an L-shaped web that is rigidly attached to the tabs 31. The L-shaped web 40 is formed from two L-shaped web parts 41, 42 spaced apart from each other in the transport direction and parallel to each other, each with a first section 41a, 42a, which extends along the flange end face 17 in the deployed state of the lifting and transport device 1, and with a second section 41b, 42b extending transversely to the first section 41a, 42a, which extends along the flange underside 36. The first sections 41a, 42a are connected at their two ends by means of an upper and a lower strut 43, 44 to form a frame that is rigid in the direction of transport and is attached to the tabs 31 where a third roller 32 is also attached.

[0043] The second sections 41b, 42b are rigidly connected to these frames 41a, 42a, 43, 44 and extend parallel to the underside of the flange 36 to a predetermined distance in front of the bolted connections 15. On their side facing the underside of the flange 36, the sections 41b, 42b each have a support plate 45, 46 parallel to the underside of the flange 36 on a subsection 41c, 42c at a predetermined clear distance from the underside of the flange 36.

[0044] The second sections 41b, 42b and the lower strut 44 are height-adjustable and attached to the first sections 41a, 42a in order to easily adapt the tension anchor 40, designed as an L-shaped web, to flanges of different thicknesses.

[0045] If the pre-tensioned bolted connection 15a or the connection of the bolting tool 16 to the pre-tensioned bolted connection 15a breaks during the pre-tensioning process, the bolting tool 16 springs upwards in lifting direction 9 within the lifting and transport device 1 until it strikes the upper cross member 19 and thereby exerts an upward force on the lifting and transport device 1, causing it to lift off the upper flange surface 13. During this action, the contact plates 45, 46 of the second sections 41b, 42b of the L-shaped web sections 41, 42 bear against the lower flange surface 36, and this positive locking action limits the lifting movement of the lifting and transport device 1 and thus also of the bolting tool 16 mounted in the lifting and transport device 1.

[0046] The clear distance 47 between the second sections 41b, 42b and the underside of the flange 36 is designed such that, including the lifting movement of the lifting and transport device 1, the total lifting movement of the screw tool 16 does not exceed a predetermined dimension.

[0047] Furthermore, the positive locking of the support plates 45, 46 of the second sections 41b, 42b of the L-shaped web sections 41, 42 with the lower flange 36, in conjunction with the auxiliary supports 8, which engage behind the bolted connections 15 adjacent to the pre-tensioned bolted connection 15a on the upper flange 13, also absorbs a tilting moment, since a C-shaped, rigid structure is formed from the second sections 41b, 42b to the auxiliary supports 8 by the successive rigid connections. In this way, tilting of the lifting and transport device 1 over the flange edge 26 is prevented.

[0048] In the embodiment according to the Figures 6 to 11 The tension anchor 40 is essentially also L-shaped, with the following modifications compared to the embodiment from the Figures 1 to 5 The first sections 41a, 42a extend beyond the top of the flange 13. At their first end, one end of a connecting web 48, 49 is rigidly attached, the other end of which is rigidly attached to the first frame section 11a, 12a.

[0049] The first sections 41a, 42a extend past the third bearing rollers 32 and – in the installed state of the lifting and transport device – beyond the underside of the flange 36 to such an extent that the second sections 41b, 42b can extend over the bolted connections 15 adjacent to the bolted connection 15a to be preloaded, towards the component wall 30. At their free ends, a plate 50, 51 is rigidly attached, designed to extend between the aforementioned bolted connections 15 and the component wall 30 towards the underside of the flange 36, i.e., to engage behind the aforementioned bolted connections 15.

[0050] In this embodiment, the clear distance 47 between the plates 50, 51 and the underside of the flange 36 is also designed such that, in the event of a breakage of the screw connection 15a to be pre-tensioned or of the connection of the screwing tool 16 with the screw connection 15a to be pre-tensioned during the pre-tensioning process, the lifting movement of the screwing tool 16 including the lifting movement of the lifting and transport device 1 does not exceed a predetermined dimension.

[0051] Furthermore, here too, a tilting moment can be absorbed by the positive locking of the plates 50, 51 with the flange underside 36 and with the component wall 30 in conjunction with the auxiliary supports 8, which engage behind the screw connections 15 adjacent to the pre-tensioned screw connection 15a on the flange top side 13, so that a tilting of the lifting and transport device 1 over the flange edge 26 is prevented.

[0052] In the embodiment according to the Figures 12 to 16 The tension anchor 40 has a flexible tension element 52 which extends transversely over the upper cross member 19 of the lifting and transport device 1 from the side facing the flange face 17 to the side facing away from the flange face 17 and has a screw connection 53 at each of its two ends, which can be screwed onto the threaded end of a screw connection 15 projecting from a screw nut 27 on the upper side of the flange 13.

[0053] In the deployed state of the lifting and transport device 1, these screw connections 27 are screwed onto the threaded ends of the immediately adjacent screw connections 15 on both sides of the frame 2.

[0054] In another (not shown) embodiment, the tension anchor 40 is formed from two separate tension elements, each of which is attached to one of the frame parts 11, 12 and has a screw connection 53 which – as in the embodiment made of the Figures 12 to 16 - can be screwed onto the threaded end of a screw connection 15 protruding from a screw nut 27 on the upper side of the flange 13.

[0055] It is conceivable that each screw connection 53 has a quick-release or clamping mechanism with which the connection to the threaded end protruding via a screw nut 27 can be quickly established and released.

[0056] In the Figures 5 , 11 and 16 are the lifting and transport devices 1 from the Figures 1 to 4 , 6 to 10 and 12 to 15The diagram shows the system in use during the production of a bolted flange connection. A bolt tensioning cylinder 16 sits on the top surface 13 of the flange 25 and on the nut 27 of the bolted connection 15a to be pre-tensioned, and engages with the end of the bolt. The two frame parts 11, 12 are arranged on either side of the bolt tensioning cylinder 16 in the transport direction 10. The first, second, and third pairs of rollers 5, 6, 7 bear against the top surface 13 of the flange 25, the component wall 30, and the flange end face 17. The two auxiliary supports 8 engage behind the bolted connections 15 adjacent to the bolted connection 15a to be pre-tensioned. The mounting device 3 is attached to the bolt tensioning cylinder 16.

[0057] The bolt is now pre-tensioned. After the tensioning process is complete, the tensioning cylinder 16 is released from the bolt end. Using the gas springs 21, the mounting device 3 and the tensioning cylinder 16 attached to it are moved upwards until the lower edge of the tensioning cylinder 16 is above the bolt end of the now pre-tensioned screw connection 15a. The lifting and transport device 1, and with it the tensioning cylinder 16, can now be freely moved or rolled to the next screw connection 15. There, the tensioning cylinder 16 is placed onto the screw connection 15 by retracting the gas springs 21.
