AI Technical Summary
Existing camera covers for electronic devices, such as webcams, are either noticeable and aesthetically unpleasing or complex and expensive, and they often deteriorate over time, failing to provide a simple and durable solution for temporarily masking the camera.
A shutter system comprising a cover and a mounting plate with male/female organ pairs that lock the cover in active and inactive positions, using a simple two-component design that minimizes vibrations and production costs.
The shutter system is aesthetically pleasing, durable, and cost-effective, effectively masking the camera while reducing vibrations and interference with device functionality.
Description
[0001] The invention relates to a shutter comprising a plate and a cover cooperating with the plate.
[0002] The invention also relates to electronic equipment comprising an optical sensor and such a shutter which allows the optical sensor to be temporarily masked. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0003] Many products are equipped with a camera, particularly a webcam, which is a camera that captures video for live streaming over a network. Examples include mobile phones, tablets, and laptops.
[0004] However, the user of these products may want to temporarily hide the camera.
[0005] A classic solution is to use a repositionable adhesive cover that is applied in front of the camera.
[0006] Such a solution is inexpensive and compact.
[0007] However, it is particularly noticeable and can therefore detract from the product's appearance. Furthermore, the adhesive eventually deteriorates, and the cover then tends to adhere less firmly to the product.
[0008] For some time now, laptops have been directly equipped with a cover that can slide between a position where it hides the camera and a position where it provides access to the camera.
[0009] Unfortunately, these caches are usually complex and expensive to produce because they involve many parts. SUBJECT OF THE INVENTION
[0010] The invention aims for a simplified shutter that ages better over time.
[0011] The invention also relates to electronic equipment fitted with such a shutter. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0012] For this purpose, the invention provides a shutter according to claim 1 comprising: A mounting plate, a cover comprising a protective element and a tab for manipulating the protective element, the cover being able to move relative to the mounting plate between an active position and an inactive position, the shutter comprising at least one male / female organ pair arranged one on the plate and the other on the cover such that the cooperation of the male and female organs temporarily locks the cover in at least one of its two positions, wherein the protection comprises a first main face and a second main face, at least one male or female organ of the pair being arranged on one of said main faces of the protection.
[0013] Thus, the shutter simply comprises two components that cooperate with each other to ensure that the cover is locked in position.
[0014] The invention thus proves to be simple in structure and relatively inexpensive to produce.
[0015] It is also more aesthetically pleasing than devices from the previous art, particularly devices based on repositionable adhesive.
[0016] Furthermore, the cooperation between the turntable and the cover advantageously limits the vibrations of the cover relative to the turntable.
[0017] This is particularly useful in cases where the shutter is arranged in electronic equipment that is sensitive to vibrations, such as a decoder box whose parasitic vibrations can degrade the sound produced by said decoder box.
[0018] The shutter includes a first male / female organ pair to lock the cover in a first position and a second male / female organ pair to lock the cover in a second position.
[0019] At least one first organ - male or female - and at least one second organ - male or female are arranged on one of the said main faces of the protection, the first organ belonging to the first pair of male / female organs and the second organ belonging to the second pair of male / female organs.
[0020] The first and second organs are arranged on opposite sides of the main face. Optionally, at least one male organ is a raised element and at least one female organ is a housing conforming to the shape of the raised element.
[0021] Optionally, the raised element is partially hemispherical.
[0022] Optionally at least one male organ is carried by the plate and at least one female organ is carried by the cover.
[0023] Optionally at least one leg is provided on the plate, the leg bearing the male or female organ of the plate.
[0024] Optionally, the lug is a cutout in the plate. Optionally, the tongue has at least one textured area.
[0025] Optionally, the shutter includes a flexible attachment section between the guard and the tab. Optionally, the cover is equipped with a visual indicator for at least one of its positions.
[0026] Optionally, the component arranged on the main face of the protection is arranged on a face opposite to that bearing the visual indicator.
[0027] Optionally, the cover includes at least one side notch.
[0028] Optionally, the cover includes at least one guide for its sliding.
[0029] Optionally, the turntable includes at least one light guide.
[0030] Optionally, the plate includes at least one positioner.
[0031] The invention also relates to electronic equipment comprising: A housing, an optical sensor arranged in the housing, a shutter as above, the shutter being arranged so that in its active position it is in front of the optical sensor and in an inactive position it is offset from the optical sensor.
[0032] Optionally, the equipment includes an electronic housing. Optionally, the equipment includes a bracket supporting the optical sensor, with the cover positioned between the housing and the mounting plate, and the mounting plate positioned between the cover and the bracket.
[0033] Optionally, the equipment is configured so that, in the inactive position of the cover, an opening in the cover extends in line with an opening in the housing and in line with an opening in the mounting plate. Optionally, the cover is positioned between the housing and the mounting plate.
[0034] Other features and advantages of the invention will become apparent from the following description of a particular and non-limiting embodiment of the invention. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0036] With reference to figures 1 to 3 , a shutter 100 is described according to a particular embodiment of the invention, shutter 100 intended to be associated with an optical sensor to temporarily mask it.
[0037] This shutter 100 includes a cover 101 shown in figures 1 and 2 as well as a 102 turntable shown at the figure 3 .
[0038] The cover 101 and / or the plate 102 are, for example, made of plastic. The cover 101 and / or the plate 102 are optionally manufactured by plastic injection molding. The cover 101 and / or the plate 102 are, for example, made of polycarbonate, acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS)... The cover 101 will be described first.
[0039] The cover 101 includes a protection 103 and a tab 104 for manipulating the protection 103.
[0040] The 103 protection is shaped into a plate. It therefore has a much smaller thickness than its other dimensions.
[0041] The protective element 103 here comprises a first main face 103a and a second main face 103b. The protective element 103 here comprises a single lateral flank 105 connecting the two main faces 103a and 103b to each other. Thus, the protective element 103 does not present any protruding edges.
[0042] The protection 103 here generally presents a cross-section (normal to an axis A which also defines the thickness of the protection 103) of oblong shape.
[0043] The protective element 103 has at least one opening 106 passing through it completely. The opening 106 extends along axis A. The opening 106 thus opens onto the two main faces 103a, 103b. Typically, the opening 106 extends along one side of the protective element 103. The opening 106 has a circular cross-section (normal to axis A).
[0044] Optionally, the guard 103 includes a notch 107 formed in the lateral side 105. This notch 107 is, for example, arranged on the lateral side 105 next to the opening 106. However, the notch 107 does not open into the opening 106. Instead, the notch 107 extends along an axis that is parallel to axis A. The notch 107 thus opens onto the two main faces 103a, 103b, as well as onto the lateral side 105. The notch 107 has a partially circular cross-section (with normal to axis A).
[0045] Preferably, protection 103 includes at least one visual indicator 108.
[0046] The visual indicator 108 may, for example, include a geometric shape (such as a circle, triangle, or rectangle) or at least one alphanumeric symbol or a drawing... which is arranged on the protective cover. The visual indicator 108 is preferably colored (orange, white, red, etc.). The diameter of the visual indicator 108 may, for example, be equal to or greater than that of the opening 106.
[0047] The visual indicator 108 is arranged on at least one of the main faces 103a or 103b, and is, for example, arranged only on the first main face 103a. More precisely, the visual indicator 108 is arranged here next to the opening 106. Typically, the visual indicator 108 extends along one side of the guard 103 (opposite to the side where the opening 106 is located). For example, the visual indicator 108 does not protrude from the middle of the main face in question. The guard 103 includes at least one female component designed to cooperate with a male component of the plate 102, which will be described below.
[0048] Preferably, the protection 103 comprises a first female organ 109 intended to cooperate with a first male organ 110 of the plate 102 and a second female organ 111 intended to cooperate with a second male organ 112 of the plate 102. Preferably, the female organs 109, 111 are arranged on opposite sides of the protection 103 and preferably are arranged on opposite sides of the second main face 103b (i.e. the face opposite to that bearing the visual indicator 108).
[0049] For example, the first female organ 109 is arranged on one side of the second main face 103b, and the second female organ 111 is arranged on a second side of said second main face 103b. The second female organ 109 is thus arranged closer to the lateral flank 105 than to the opening 106. For example, the second female organ 109 is arranged between the opening 106 and the notch 107.
[0050] At least one of the female organs 109, 111 is a housing formed in the principal face under consideration. The housing is, for example, partially hemispherical in shape. The housing is, for example, shaped like a hemisphere. The housing does not open onto the first principal face.
[0051] Optionally, the two female organs 109, 111 are aligned on an axis B which is orthogonal to the axis A. The axis B defines, for example, the length of the principal faces 103a, 103b.
[0052] Optionally, the orifice 106 and / or the notch 107 are also aligned on said axis B.
[0053] The guard 103 is shaped to slide relative to the plate 102 between an active and an inactive position. The sliding occurs here along an axis orthogonal to axis A. The sliding occurs here parallel to axis B.
[0054] Preferably, the guard 103 includes at least one sliding guide 1100, and preferably at least two guides 1100. At least one of the guides 1100 is shaped as a rod extending longitudinally along an axis C. Said axis C is, for example, parallel to the axis B. For example, at least one of the guides 1100 is arranged on one of the main faces, and preferably on the first main face 103a. The second main face 103b does not include such a guide. For example, at least one guide 1100 is arranged on a lower or upper edge of the first main face 103a, between the two sides of said main face 103a. Preferably, said guide 1100 is centered on the first main face (along the axis B). For example, one of the guides 1100 is arranged on the upper edge of the first main face 103a and the other on the lower edge, the two guides 1100 extending parallel to each other.
[0055] The tab 104 includes a support 1111 and a portion of the attachment 112 of the support 1111 to the protection 103.
[0056] The handling tab 104 and the protective cover 103 are preferably made of a single piece. The cover 101 is therefore also made of a single piece.
[0057] The support 1111 here comprises a first principal face 111a and a second principal face 111b. The support 1111 here has a single lateral side 111c connecting the two principal faces 111a and 111b. Thus, the support 1111 has no protruding edges. The support 1111 here has an overall oblong cross-section (with normal to an axis D that also defines the thickness of the support 1111).
[0058] The attachment portion 112 is shaped so that the support 1111 extends transversely to the protection 103. Thus the axis D extends transversely to the axis A (i.e. neither orthogonally nor parallel).
[0059] The attachment portion 112 is preferably flexible and preferably exhibits elastically deformable behavior.
[0060] A first main face 111a of the support 1111 is thus turned towards the second main face 103b of the protection 103.
[0061] Preferably, the support 1111 is shaped so as to present at least one textured area 113.
[0062] This makes it easier to handle the support 1111. A user's finger is less likely to slip along the support 1111 when the user manipulates the tab 104 to slide the cover 101.
[0063] The said textured area 113 is preferably provided on at least the second main face 111b of the support.
[0064] Turntable 102 will now be described.
[0065] The plate 102 includes a bonding portion 120, a cooperation portion 121 and a linking portion 122 from the cooperation portion 121 to the bonding portion 120. The three aforementioned portions 120, 121, 122 are preferably of a single piece.
[0066] The 102 plate is preferably made of a single piece.
[0067] The 120 fastening portion allows the shutter 100 to be fastened to an external element such as electronic equipment.
[0068] The connecting portion 120 is shaped into a plate. This connecting portion 120 comprises a first main face 120a and a second main face 120b. The connecting portion 120 also has a single lateral flank 120c connecting the two main faces 120a and 120b. Consequently, the connecting portion 120 has no protruding edges.
[0069] The connecting portion 120 has at least one opening 123 passing through it completely. Preferably, the connecting portion 120 has two openings 123 passing through it completely.
[0070] At least one opening 123 extends parallel to an axis E (corresponding to the one defining the thickness of the bonding portion 120). At least one opening 123 thus leads to the two main faces 120a, 120b of the bonding portion 120. Typically, at least one opening 123 extends along one side of the bonding portion 120.
[0071] At least one opening 123 has a cross-section (normal to axis E) of oblong shape.
[0072] Preferably, an opening 123 is arranged on a first side of the bonding portion 120 and an opening 123 is arranged on a second side of the bonding portion 120.
[0073] For example, the securing portion 120 has two arms 124 arranged on each of its sides, each arm 124 being pierced by one of the openings 123.
[0074] The cooperation portion 121 allows the plate 102 to cooperate with the cache 101.
[0075] The cooperation portion 121 is shaped like a plate. The cooperation portion 121 here comprises a first main face 121a and a second main face 121b. The cooperation portion 121 here has a single lateral flank 121ac connecting the two main faces 121a and 121b. Thus, the cooperation portion 121 does not present any protruding edges.
[0076] The cooperation portion 121 includes at least one orifice 125 passing through it. The orifice 125 extends parallel to an axis F (which also defines the thickness of the cooperation portion 121). The orifice 125 thus opens onto the two principal faces 121a and 121b. Typically, the orifice 125 is centered on the principal faces 121a and 121b. The orifice 125 has a circular cross-section (with normal to the axis F). The diameter of the orifice 125 is larger than that of the orifice 106.
[0077] Optionally, the cooperation portion 121 includes a light guide 126 arranged on one side of the cooperation portion 121. Said light guide 126 thus extends through the entire cooperation portion 121. A first end of the light guide 126 extends in the same plane as the second principal face 121b of the cooperation portion 121. A second end of the light guide 126 extends beyond the first principal face 121a of the cooperation portion 121. The light guide 126 extends along an axis G which is here parallel to the axis F.
[0078] Preferably, the cooperation portion 121 includes at least one positioner 127 to facilitate the positioning of the plate 102 on the external element.
[0079] The positioner 127 is, for example, in the form of an orifice. For example, the cooperation portion 121 has two positioners 127, each in the form of an orifice. For example, the orifices are arranged on sides of the cooperation portion 121. The orifices extend so as to open onto each of the main faces 121a, 121b. The orifices preferably extend parallel to the axis F.
[0080] As previously stated, the cooperation portion 121 includes at least one male organ to cooperate with one of the female organs of cache 101.
[0081] Preferably, the male organs 110, 112 are arranged on opposite sides of the same main face of the cooperation portion 121. The male organs are preferably arranged on the first main face 121a. For example, a male organ 110 is arranged on a first side of the first main face 121a and a second male organ 112 is arranged on a second side of said first main face 121a.
[0082] For example, the male organs 110 and 112 extend from the same first principal face as that from which the light guide 126 extends. Optionally the light guide 126 extends next to one of the male organs.
[0083] At least one of the male organs 110, 112 is a raised element. The raised element is, for example, partially hemispherical in shape. The raised element is, for example, shaped like a hemisphere.
[0084] Optionally, the two male organs 110, 112 are aligned on an axis H which is orthogonal to the axis F. Optionally the light guide 126 and / or the orifice 125 are also aligned on said axis H.
[0085] Preferably, the cooperative portion 121 comprises at least one leg per male organ, each leg bearing one of the male organs. In the present case, the cooperative portion therefore comprises two legs 128.
[0086] Preferably, at least one leg 128 is defined by a cutout in the cooperative portion 121. At least one leg 128 thus comprises an end attached to the rest of the cooperative portion 121 and a free end. The male organ 110, 112 is preferably borne by the free end of the leg 128 in question.
[0087] It is therefore understood that the aforementioned leg 128 is flexible. For example, leg 128 exhibits elastic deformability.
[0088] This is due to the fact that said leg 128 is defined by a cut in the cooperation portion 122.
[0089] At least one leg 128 extends longitudinally along an axis parallel to the H axis. Said axis is here coincident with the H axis.
[0090] At least one leg 128 is shaped so as to have a cross-section (with normal to the axis F) in a point and preferably in a point with a rounded end, the point forming the free end of the leg 128. For example the leg 128 is shaped in an isosceles triangle, optionally in an isosceles triangle with a rounded principal vertex, the principal vertex being rounded.
[0091] It is therefore understood that at least one leg 128 is defined by at least one groove 129 formed in the cooperation portion 121 such that the groove 129 opens onto the two main faces 121a, 121b. In the present case, at least one leg 128 is defined by a single groove 129. At least one groove 129 is, for example, shaped like a horseshoe whose arms spread out more and more towards their free ends.
[0092] The linking portion 122 is shaped so that the bonding portion 120 extends transversely to the cooperation portion 121. Thus the axis F extends transversely to the axis E.
[0093] The connecting portion 122 is preferably flexible and preferably exhibits elastically deformable behavior.
[0094] The plate 102 may optionally include at least one reinforcement 130 extending between the bonding portion 120 and the cooperation portion 121 (in particular between the second main face 120b and the second main face 121b). For example, as illustrated in the figure 6 , the plate 102 has at least a first reinforcement 130 and a second reinforcement 130 arranged on either side of the orifice 125. For example each reinforcement 130 is arranged at the attachment end of one of the legs 128 to the rest of the cooperation portion 121.
[0095] With reference to the various figures, the shutter 100 thus described is therefore designed to be able to be attached to electronic equipment.
[0096] Electronic equipment is, for example, an electronic box and, for example, a decoder box 1 or audio-video decoder box (in English, Set-Top Box ).
[0097] The decoder box 1 includes a casing 2.
[0098] Preferably, the enclosure 2 is in at least two parts. For example, the enclosure 2 comprises a base and a cover 7 which together form the enclosure 2.
[0099] Preferably, the base and the cover 7 are designed to be fitted or snapped into one another. Preferably, once the base and the cover 7 are joined together, they are then secured to each other by means of initial fastening, such as screws. Furthermore, the decoder housing 1 includes an optical sensor 8.
[0100] As is known per se, the optical sensor 8 has a field of view (i.e. the area of view that the optical sensor 8 can capture when taking an image) which is centered around a viewing axis 10 of the optical sensor 8. The optical sensor 8 is arranged in the decoder housing 1 so as to be fixed relative to the housing 2.
[0101] Optical sensor 8 is for example a camera and for example a camera comprising an electronic sensor (for example of type CMOS or CCD) and at least one optical lens.
[0102] Optical sensor 8 is fully arranged inside housing 2.
[0103] Typically, at least one opening 11 is provided in one of the side sides 5 of the decoder housing 1.
[0104] Opening 11 therefore extends across the front of decoder box 1.
[0105] The opening 11 extends straight across the lateral flank 5 in a direction O.
[0106] The opening 11 is through-hole so that it opens at one end inside the box 2 and at a second end outside the box 2.
[0107] The opening 11 has a cross-section (along a section plane normal to the direction O) which is here circular.
[0108] Opening 11 has a cross-section that widens towards the outside of box 2.
[0109] Thus the opening 11 is shaped into a truncated cone on at least one section of the opening 11.
[0110] The optical sensor 8 is further arranged so that its axis of vision 10 extends through the lateral side 5 from the inside of the housing 2 to the outside of the housing 2 via said opening 11. The vision axis 10 is of course an imaginary axis so that it virtually extends through the opening 11.
[0111] Furthermore, the optical sensor 8 is arranged so that its viewing axis 10 is inclined (i.e., neither parallel nor orthogonal) to a given plane. This given plane is, for example, a plane parallel to a main upper face of the housing and / or to a main lower face of the housing. Preferably, this plane is horizontal when the main lower face rests on a horizontal base.
[0112] Therefore, the vision axis 10 is inclined with respect to the horizontal in this case.
[0113] The vision axis 10 is thus also inclined (and not orthogonal) to the lateral flank 5 in which the opening 11 is provided.
[0114] Optionally, the vision axis 10 is inclined upwards relative to the plane in which the lower main face extends.
[0115] Preferably, the direction O along which the aperture 11 extends axially is parallel to the viewing axis 10 of the optical sensor. Preferably, the direction O coincides with the viewing axis 10 of the optical sensor 8.
[0116] Thus the aperture 11 and the field of view of the optical sensor 8 extend coaxially.
[0117] This allows the aperture 11 to avoid interfering with the field of vision.
[0118] Preferably, in order to further limit interference between the field of vision and the aperture 11, the aperture 11 is shaped to have a cross-section wider than the corresponding cross-section of the field of vision (for the same plane of section with normal to the direction O) and this for at least a part of the segment of the aperture 11 (along the direction O) and preferably over the entire length (along the direction O) of the aperture 11.
[0119] According to a preferred embodiment, the decoder box 1 includes a support 12 carrying the optical sensor 8. The optical sensor 8 is thus fixed to the support 12. For example, the optical sensor 8 is soldered to the support.
[0120] Typically, support 12 is a printed circuit board.
[0121] The support 12 is thus formed into a plate. Its thickness is therefore much less than its other dimensions. The support 12 thus has two main faces. These faces are flat. These faces extend parallel to each other.
[0122] The bracket 12 is itself fixed to the housing 2 and arranged inside the housing 2. The bracket 12 is, for example, fixed to the cover 7. Preferably, the bracket 12 is fixed to the cover 7 at a main wall 9 of the cover 7 and / or the side panel 5 in which the opening 11 is provided. For this purpose, the decoder housing 1 includes means for fixing the bracket 12 to the housing 2. For example, the fixing means include at least one screw 13 and the cover 7 at least one corresponding screw shank 14 in which the screw 13 is housed. Preferably, the second type of fixing means includes at least two screws 13, each of which is screwed into one of the at least two corresponding screw shanks 14 of the cover 7.
[0123] For example the support 12 has at least one hole 15 going through it so as to open at one end on the first main face of the support 12 and at a second end on the second main face of the support 12, the hole 15 thus extending orthogonally to said faces.
[0124] Thus, it is sufficient to arrange a first screw 13 through one of the holes 15 of the support 12 and then in the corresponding barrel 14 of the hood 7 and the second screw 13 through the other hole 15 of the support in the other barrel 14, to fix the support 12 to the hood 7.
[0125] At least one of the shafts 14 extends straight and longitudinally in a direction U. Furthermore, at least one of the shafts 14 is arranged so that when the support 12 is fixed to the hood 7 via the shafts 14, the direction U is orthogonal to the plane in which the first principal face of the support 12 extends.
[0126] According to a particular embodiment, the support 12 is arranged in an inclined manner with respect to the lateral side 5 carrying the opening 11.
[0127] Furthermore, the optical sensor 8 is arranged on the first main face of the support 12 so that its vision axis 10 extends orthogonally to said face.
[0128] In this way, the optical sensor 8 is properly tilted relative to the horizontal.
[0129] Preferably, a protective window 16 is arranged at the second end of the opening 11 (i.e. the one opening onto the outside).
[0130] This helps to protect the optical sensor 8 from the external environment (dust for example).
[0131] In order to temporarily block the field of view of the optical sensor 8, the shutter 100 is arranged between the housing 2 and the optical sensor 8.
[0132] During a first assembly step, the cover 101 is first arranged in the box 2 so that the protection 103 extends at the level of the side 5 bearing the opening 11 and that its tab 104 extends at the level of the main wall 9.
[0133] The attachment portion 105 is therefore shaped to best fit the junction between the lateral side 5 and the main wall 9.
[0134] Furthermore, a hole 17 pierces the main wall 9 so as to open onto an outer face of the main wall 9 on one side and onto an inner face of the main wall 9 on the other. The hole 17 extends along a direction V (a direction that is parallel to the axis A when the cover 101 is in place). The hole 17 has, for example, an oblong cross-section (with normal to the direction V).
[0135] The tab 104 is thus received inside the hole 17 so that it can slide along the hole along axis B, which is parallel to a direction defining the length or width of the main wall. Naturally, the shutter 100 is arranged so that its textured area 113 is accessible to the user from outside the housing 2. The shutter 100 is therefore shaped so that the second main face 111b is in the same plane as the outer face of the main wall 9 or extends beyond it.
[0136] Furthermore, a recess 18 is provided in the side panel 5 (internal side of the box 2) to receive the sliding protection 103. The recess 18 does not open outside the box 2.
[0137] The recess 18 extends longitudinally in a direction that defines the length or width of the lateral side 5.
[0138] The recess 18 has a cross-section (normal to axis A when the protection 103 is in place in the recess 18) of identical shape to that of the protection 103 but with a greater length than that of the protection 103. The recess 18 therefore has an oblong cross-section here.
[0139] Preferably, the housing 2 includes at least one guide 20 to facilitate the sliding of the protection 103 relative to the housing 2 and preferably at least two guides 20.
[0140] At least one of the guides 20 is formed into a groove extending parallel to the axis C when the cover 101 is in place in the recess 18. At least one groove is thus provided in the recess 18. At least one of the grooves is suitable for sliding at least one of the strips of the protection 103. In the present case, the housing 2 therefore has two grooves extending parallel to each other, one on the upper edge and the other on the lower edge of the recess 18.
[0141] Preferably, the housing is provided with at least one hole 19 passing completely through the side panel 5. The hole 19 thus extends in a direction parallel to the axis B when the cover 101 is in place in the recess 18. Such a hole 19 thus opens onto the two main faces of the side panel 5.
[0142] Hole 19 is designed to allow a user outside the housing 2 to view a light signal from the optical sensor 8: if the optical sensor 8 is on (and the user can be filmed), then the light signal indicates this, for example by emitting a red light. Conversely, if the optical sensor 8 is off, then the light signal also indicates this (for example by emitting no light).
[0143] Advantageously, the notch 107 allows the cover 101 not to block this hole 19: the user therefore always has access from outside the box 2 to the light signal, regardless of the position of the cover 101 with respect to the box 2.
[0144] During a second assembly step, the plate 102 is brought against the cover 101.
[0145] Advantageously, the box 2 has pins 21 that fit into the positioners 127, which facilitates the correct positioning of the plate 102 relative to the box 2.
[0146] Similarly, the box 2 has ribs 22 that fit into the openings 123 of the bonding portion 120.
[0147] This facilitates the correct positioning of the plate 102 relative to the box 2. A swaging operation (for example hot) of the ribs 22 then allows the plate 102 to be fixed to the box 2.
[0148] In this position, a first face of the plate 102 (defined at least by the first face 120a and the first face 121a) is thus turned towards the second face of the cover (defined at least by the first face 103b and the second face 111a).
[0149] In this position, the cover 101 is arranged between the housing 2 and the plate 102. In this position, the cover 101 is arranged between the housing 2 and the cooperation portion 121 of the plate 102. In this position, the protection 103 is arranged between the housing 2 and the cooperation portion 121 of the plate 102.
[0150] The first main face 103a of the protection 103 of the cover 101 is turned towards the main internal face of the lateral side 5 and / or is turned towards the inside of the recess 18.
[0151] The second main face 103b of the protection 103 of the cover 101 is turned towards the main face of the bonding portion 120 of the shutter 100. In this way, the elements carried by the cover 101 are opposite the elements carried by the shutter 100.
[0152] Naturally, the shutter 100 is shaped so that the axis F is parallel to the viewing axis 10 of the optical sensor. Preferably, the axis F coincides with the viewing axis 10 of the optical sensor 8. Thus, the aperture 125 and the field of view of the optical sensor 8 extend coaxially. This allows the aperture 125 to avoid interfering with the field of view.
[0153] Of course (for each section plane along axis E), both orifice 125 and orifice 106 have a diameter at least greater than the diameter of the field of vision. This allows the orifice to avoid interfering with the field of vision.
[0154] Unlike the plate 102 which is fixed to the box 2, the cover 101 can still move relative to the box 2 but only according to its translational movement along the axis B.
[0155] In a third assembly step, the support 12 carrying the optical sensor 8 is then attached to the cover 7 as previously described. Optionally, part of the optical sensor 8 can extend through the opening 125 without protruding beyond it, allowing the cover 102 to slide relative to the plate 101.
[0156] When filming with optical sensor 8 is in use, the 101 cover is in a first position called the inactive position.
[0157] In this position, its orifice 106 extends in alignment with that 11 of the lateral side 5 (and therefore with that 125 of the plate 102). For example, the orifice 106 is such that axis A is parallel to the viewing axis 10 of the optical sensor. Preferably, axis A then coincides with the viewing axis 10 of the optical sensor 8. Thus, the orifice 106 and the field of view of the optical sensor 8 extend coaxially. This allows the orifice 105 to avoid interfering with the field of view.
[0158] In this position, the shutter 100 allows the visualization of the light signal thanks to the alignment of the light guide 126 and a hole 19. For example, the light guide 126 and the hole 19 extend coaxially with each other and with the axis A. Preferably, the light guide 126 extends into the hole 19 or even extends to the main external face of the lateral flank 5 in which the hole 19 is provided.
[0159] Advantageously, the cover 101 is held in its inactive position due to the cooperation between the first male organ 109 and the first female organ 110. When it is desired to block the field of vision of the optical sensor 8, it is sufficient to slide the tab 104 (causing the separation between the first male organ 109 and the first female organ 110) until the second male organ 111 comes to fit into the second female organ 112.
[0160] The cover 101 is then in its second position (or active position): a solid portion of the protection 103 is then arranged between the opening 11 and the optical sensor 8, blocking its field of vision.
[0161] Advantageously, the user can always see the light signal associated with the optical sensor 8 thanks to the notch 107 made in this solid portion and the hole 19. For example, the notch 107 and the hole 19 extend coaxially between them.
[0162] Even more advantageously, the visual indicator 108 is visible from outside the housing 2 through the opening 11. The user can thus quickly understand that the field of vision of the optical sensor 8 is obscured.
[0163] To return to the inactive position, simply slide the tab 104 (causing the separation between the second male organ 111 and the second female organ 113) until the first male organ 109 is inserted back into the first female organ 111.
[0164] Moving from one position to another in cache 101 is therefore very simple.
[0165] It is noted that the cooperation of the male / female organs makes it possible to define stops for the sliding of the cover 101 and thus to define the active position and the inactive position of the cover 101.
[0166] In addition, this helps to keep the cover 101 securely in place with respect to the box 2 and the plate 102.
[0167] This limits the risk that the cover 101 may vibrate relative to the hood 7, particularly on an axis orthogonal to the vision axis 10 of the optical sensor 8.
[0168] In addition, the flexibility of the legs 128 carrying the male organs 109, 111 helps to limit the transmission of vibrations from the box 2 to the cover 101, particularly in the line of sight 10.
[0169] Preferably, the recess 18 is shaped so that its sides form a first stop for a first side of the guard 103 in the active position and a second stop for a second side of the guard 103 in its inactive position.
[0170] Preferably also, the hole 17 is shaped so that its sides form a first stop for a first side of the tongue 104 in the active position and a second stop for a second side of the tongue 104 in its inactive position.
[0171] Of course, the invention is not limited to the embodiment described but encompasses any variant falling within the scope of protection of the invention as defined by the claims.
[0172] In particular, at least one male organ may be carried by the cover and at least one corresponding female organ by the plate.
[0173] The shutter can be attached to the housing in a different way than indicated, for example by screw-nut assemblies.
[0174] Although the shutter is fixed to the housing here, the shutter could be a single piece with the housing. The mounting plate could thus be made from the same material as the housing. For example, the connecting portion could be made from the same material as the housing.
[0175] In all cases, the shutter will preferably include a portion for securing to the housing (in one piece with the housing or fixed to the housing) and a cooperation portion extending preferably in a different plane from the portion for securing.
[0176] In all cases of preference, the cooperation portion will extend between the cover and the housing.
[0177] The electronic equipment may be something other than an electronic box. The set-top box could be integrated into a television, or it could be located in a device offering other functionalities (for example, a game console).
[0178] Instead of being attached to the hood, the shutter can be attached to the base.
[0179] The opening could be made in the base and not in the hood.
[0180] The cooperation component may extend parallel or orthogonally to the solidarity component.
[0181] The manipulation tab can extend parallel or orthogonally to the protection.
[0182] Although here the optical sensor is arranged so that its viewing axis is inclined upwards (i.e., towards the upper main face), the optical sensor could be arranged so that its viewing axis is inclined downwards (i.e., towards the lower main face) or could be arranged so that its viewing axis extends horizontally. Preferably, the cover will slide in a direction orthogonal to the viewing axis of the optical sensor and / or parallel to the support carrying the optical sensor.
[0183] The support can be a simple plate and not a printed circuit board.
[0184] The support can be arranged parallel (and not inclined as has been proposed) to the side in which the opening is made and / or the optical sensor can be arranged so that its axis of vision is inclined or orthogonal to one of the main faces of the support.
